High-performance braided fishing line for maximum strength and casting performance

This braided fishing line is designed for all types of fishing where minimal stretch, extremely high tensile strength, and excellent casting performance are required. It is made from premium Peak-UHMWPE fibers using a dense braid of up to 8 strands.

“R” stands for “round and tight”

The letter “R” stands for “round and tight.” This line is manufactured using a special braiding process, where Peak-UHMWPE fibers are woven at a very small angle.
For example, Type R12 consists of 300 × 8 = 2400 individual microfibers, forming a nearly perfectly round cross-section.

The surface of the line features tiny, arrow-shaped dimples, which improve line glide through the guides, reduce noise, and contribute to longer and more accurate casts.

Unique advantage – spliceable self-locking loop

In addition to its outstanding overall properties, this “round and tight” special braid offers a major advantage that many other braided lines do not.
All STROFT GTP R lines allow the creation of a self-locking spliced loop, which provides a significantly higher breaking strength than any conventional knot connection.

Ultra-thin models – the peak of technical capability

Models R01–R06 are extremely fine, with actual diameters ranging from just 0.07 mm to 0.13 mm. This is achieved using a special Peak-UHMWPE fiber bundled into strands containing only a very small number of individual filaments.

Due to limited demand, large-scale production of these ultra-thin models is not economically viable, but they are presented to demonstrate what is technically possible.
