Looking for ways to improve the DT series, David Fritts realized that DT's are truly the pinnacle of crankbait lures. Everything he ever wanted in a lure. The only possible alterations were not in the lure itself, but in the hook system and color selections. With over thirty years professional angling under his belt, he set out designing what is now known as the Sure Set hook. Recognized at the 2004 ICAST with "Best of Show" award, these hooks have shown an impressive increase in hook rates when fish are striking short or missing altogether.
