Turmeric is a very interesting attractant for roach fishing. It can be used as a groundbait additive or as a spice for maggots. The spicy aroma is highly attractive to roach.
Tip
You can make your maggots more attractive to roach by sprinkling them with turmeric powder about 12 hours before fishing.
To give your groundbait a spicy note, 50 g of turmeric per 3 kg of groundbait is sufficient.
Additional seasoning during fishing can also be very effective.
